From the mountains of West Virginia
to the shores of South Carolina
Dolly Sods is a beloved wilderness area in the mountains of West Virginia — and the ancestral home of our family, whose name was once spelled Dahle, original settlers of that rugged land centuries ago.
When we found our little piece of paradise on the South Carolina coast, we knew exactly what to name it. Dolly Sands — our family's claim on the sand, an echo of the mountains back home. From the highlands to the shore, same family, same spirit, two completely different landscapes.
We designed every inch of this house ourselves — the pool-blue exterior, the flamingo pink door, the gold accents, the coastal art, the cozy bedrooms — because we believe a vacation rental should feel like a home that loves you back.
